2026 Foundations Retreat

July 25–26, 2026

Join us as we celebrate the close of our summer ministries and launch into a new school year of faith, friendship, leadership, and service. Through learning, fellowship, worship, swimming, planning, and fun, students and families will explore what it means to live fully in God's promises because God was first all in for us.

Full Retreat Registration – $75

Includes four meals, pool admission, all retreat materials, leadership activities, and the Trinity Grand Prix.

Sunday-Only Registration – $20

Includes lunch, dinner, Trinity Grand Prix participation, and the Closing Worship & Blessing Service.

Scholarships are available. We never want cost to prevent participation.

Saturday, July 25

Lutheran Foundations Retreat

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | PACE Center

For Lutheran Foundations students (Confirmation Years 1 & 2 and Fall Confirmands working on statements and stoles)

This year's Foundations topics include:

  • The Lord's Prayer

  • The Means of Grace (Word, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper)

Lunch is included.

Swimming & Fellowship

4:00 PM – 5:45 PM | H2O'Brien Pool

All middle school and high school students are invited to join us for swimming, dinner, and fellowship as we celebrate the summer together.

Students, leaders, and families are invited to help dream, plan, and prepare for the upcoming ministry year. Bring your ideas as we build our calendar, events, service opportunities, and discipleship plans together.

Trinity Grand Prix Setup

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Help transform our campus into a raceway for our first-ever Trinity Grand Prix!

First Annual Trinity Grand Prix

Closing Worship & Blessing Service

Students, leaders, and families will gather for worship, reflection, prayer, and blessing as we officially launch into a new school year of ministry together.

Help keep registration affordable by sponsoring a meal or activity. Families, individuals, and Family Groups are invited to underwrite a portion of the retreat as we invest in the faith formation of our students.

Elevate Summer Youth Nights- TRINITY GRAND PRIX

Trinity Grand Prix Registration

🏁 Welcome to the First Annual Trinity Grand Prix! 🏁

As part of our Foundations Retreat and our final Elevate event of the summer, we're transforming the Trinity campus into a raceway for an evening of fun, creativity, competition, and community!

Whether you're bringing a high-speed RC car, a decorated bicycle, a creative homemade vehicle, or simply your running shoes, there's a race for everyone. Participants of all ages are welcome to enter one or multiple categories.

Event Details

  • Date: Sunday, July 26

  • Time: Grand Prix Races begin at 6:00 PM

  • Location: Trinity Lutheran Church & School Campus

  • Cost: Free

  • Awards: Medals, bragging rights, and special judges' awards for creativity, design, and spirit!

🏎️ Category 1: RC & Electric Vehicle Division

Bring your favorite remote-controlled car, truck, boat-on-wheels, robot, or other electric-powered vehicle.

Examples:

  • RC Cars and Trucks

  • Remote-Controlled Crawlers

  • Electric Toy Vehicles

  • Small Motorized Creations

Race Style: Timed course and head-to-head heats.

🚲 Category 2: Ride-On Division

For racers who want to power their own ride—or let a battery help!

Examples:

  • Bicycles

  • Scooters

  • Balance Bikes

  • Big Wheels

  • Power Wheels

  • Electric Ride-On Vehicles

  • Other Rideable Creations

Race Style: Age-based heats and obstacle challenges.

🎨 Category 3: Wild Card Division

The category for creativity, engineering, and pure fun!

Examples:

  • Wagons

  • Strollers

  • Homemade Vehicles

  • Push Carts

  • Decorated Creations

  • Anything that doesn't fit another category!

If you've ever thought, "I wonder if this counts?"—this is probably your category.

Race Style: Judges' choice, creativity awards, and special challenge events.

🏃 Category 4: Foot Race Division

Calling all runners, sprinters, trail runners, cross-country athletes, and anyone who enjoys a good challenge!

Race Options May Include:

  • Sprint Race

  • Family Relay

  • Endurance Challenge

  • Youth and Adult Divisions

No vehicle required—just your feet and a willingness to run!

Trinity Unified Service and Picnic

Join us on Sunday, August 23rd for Trinity’s Unified Service and Community Picnic as we kick off a new year of ministry together. On this special Sunday, our church, school, and greater community will gather as one for a single combined worship service followed by a picnic and time of fellowship for all ages.

As we enter a season of greater unity in mission and vision, this day serves as both a celebration and a commissioning. Together, we will pray over our students, teachers, staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and families as we begin a new season of learning, worship, service, and outreach.

Whether you are a longtime member, a school family, or someone looking for a welcoming community, we invite you to join us for this meaningful morning of worship, connection, and celebration. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, invite a friend, and stay for food, games, and fellowship following the service.

We look forward to beginning this new ministry year together as one Trinity family.

Foundations Seder Meal

Join us on Sunday, February 28th for a special Foundations evening as students, families, and church elders gather together to share in a Seder Meal during the season of Lent. This meaningful experience connects deeply with our current study of the sacraments and Holy Communion, helping us reflect on the rich history of God’s promises and the meal Jesus shared with His disciples.

Through Scripture, prayer, symbolic foods, and conversation around the table, we will explore the connections between the Passover meal and Christ’s gift of grace in the Lord’s Supper. This intergenerational evening is designed to deepen faith, spark meaningful discussion, and create space for worship and community together.

We invite all Foundations families and participating elders to join us for this memorable night of learning, reflection, and fellowship as we journey through Lent together.

Join us Sunday, June 21 for Camp Firelight Celebration Sunday. Students will help lead worship at 8:00 and 10:30am, sharing songs and moments from the week. At 9:30am, enjoy a church-wide celebration with breakfast tacos (student fundraiser), open play, and activity stations for all ages. Come celebrate what God has done and the community we continue to build together.
