Reconfiguration Updates from Pastor Bobby (8/8/2024)

Final Update!! Our reconfiguration projects are COMPLETE!! We are grateful for all of our volunteers throughout the summer. From framing walls, to installing electrical outlets, to moving classroom furniture, to painting walls, to tearing out floors, to cleaning up construction dust, to taking items to the dump and recycling center, none of this would have been possible without you. Our Alpha and Omega floors look incredible. The new offices and flexible rooms are amazing. We hope you can take some time this Sunday morning to walk around and see the changes. We give the Lord thanks for the work completed and for the ministry that will happen in these spaces this year and beyond.

Phase One Planning- Summer 2024

School Updates

  • DONE. New flooring in both school buildings (Alpha and Omega buildings)

    • Find Trailer or pod to store furnture and boxes while this work is completed.

    • Analyze three flooring quotes, provide recommendation, work with Vendor

    • Move boxes and desks to a trailer or pod

    • Pull up all flooring and discard

    • If we have an experienced volunteer, we'd like to have them install the Vinyl

    • Vendor will install the carpet

    • Move boxes and furniture back into the buildings

Church Updates

DONE. Build wall in Pastor's office to make two offices.  We'll need movers, electrical, construction, some HVAC workers and painting.

  • Tear down wall between Ben's office and the Bookkeeper's office.  Then build two walls, so making 3 offices out of 2.  We will need the same workers as above.  If volunteers can do both at the same time, we can do that.

  • Change nursery into a conference room.  Cap off toilet (toilet to be used in Phase II), paint (already done), set up temporary nursery to be used on Sundays and special occasions.  Some light construction work and plumbers needed.

  • Change youth room into staff lounge.  Need movers and painters.
